Mother's Day and Women's Health Week (May 12-18th)

At Grass Lake Community Pharmacy, the May flyer officially launched on the first of the month! This month is brought to you by Women’s Health! The Office on Women's Health, which sponsors Women’s Health Week, was established in 1991 within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The office coordinates women's health efforts across HHS and addresses critical women's health issues by informing and advancing policies, educating health care professionals and consumers, and supporting innovative programs. Some of these programs include active duty and veteran women’s health, assessment of women’s behavioral health in energy development areas, breast cancer patient education, college sexual assault policy & prevention initiative, health information gateway, HIV prevention and more.

We’re excited to celebrate all the women in our community with savings that are included in our flyer! Some of the products I’ve personally used myself and I’m a huge fan of!
So let’s get started in discussing them!

  1. Culturelle- A digestive health daily probiotic Capsules supplement contains naturally sourced ingredients that work with your body to support digestive health.* Ingredients like the proven probiotic strain, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, are shown to help your digestive system work better. Certain probiotics can introduce new gut flora into your gastrointestinal system, which can wreak havoc. Culturelle capsules delivers 10 billion live active cultures of LGG, the most clinically studied probiotic strain, to help your digestive system work better, along with the prebiotic inulin.
Need a probiotic? I highly suggest this! Helps fight bloat too!

  2. Neutrogena Products- As a rule, this company makes phenomenal skin care, for the price. I swear by the make-up wipes they produce as I buy them in bulk. Works for all skin types!

  3. CerVe- HIGHLY recommended! I use this as my daily facial cleanser and my skin has never felt better! It was suggested to me by a dermatologist and I swear by it.

  4. Kotex-I’m really happy with the fact they changed their product and packaging design as a whole. They’ve changed to rayon in their tampons, which is manufactured from cellulose fiber, extremely similar to silk however it’s more absorbent.

  5. Clearasil-When I had been going through and exiting puberty, this stuff was THE BOMB! Any acne I had usually faded within a few days.

  6. BandAid-A classic go to. This company hasn’t failed, strong product too!

  7. Benadryl-I’ve had to swear by this medication my entire life as I have a tree nut allergy. It’s a reliable antihistamine and great for heavy seasonal allergies. I also really like the non-drowsy benadryl.

  8. Airborne-Great product to boost your immune system, especially when you start to feel symptoms of a head cold or flu come on. Used it when I starting to feel those symptoms.

  9. Senokot S-So in my 27 years of being alive, I’ve had a couple of surgeries. Whenever I’ve been on narcotics for pain, I’ve used this to counteract the effects of narcotics (as I usually get “plugged up”). Works well!

  10. Aleve-Just as good as Ibuprofen, essentially the same exact thing

  11. Biotrue-Anytime I’ve had to wear contacts, this was a great contact solution to travel with (I usually purchased the travel size).

Happy May everyone! Let’s hope for some warm weather sooner rather than later!
