with Tom Alig | Vice President of Staffing at Indispensable Health
Hello, I am Tom Alig, Vice President of Staffing with Indispensable Health.
I’ve been recruiting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians since 2004, and I’ve seen the things good candidates do to separate themselves, and I’ve seen the mistakes that some candidates make.
This is the first in a series of short videos on suggestions for preparing your resume for a pharmacy position.
Today’s Tip: Have a friend or colleague proof-read your resume. Make changes. Then have another friend or colleague proof-read your resume.
Spelling counts. If you don’t take the time to make sure the words on your resume are spelled correctly, what am I going to think when you have that prescription for my daughter in front of you? How detailed are you going to be for that prescription? What are you going to get wrong with that?
Pharmacy is a detail-oriented profession. You need to have the words on your resume spelled correctly. Have a friend or colleague proof-read your resume. Make changes. Then have another friend or colleague proof-read your resume.
Here’s my offer to you. I will review your resume. For free. Just because you watched this video. Check out the link below for details.
